Even 20 years is a long, long time in automotive-design years, and so we've established that as the cutoff for this list. We're not talking about model names that have been around forever (e.g., Crown Victoria, Century, Bluebird), but a particular chassis/generation of a car that remained fundamentally unchanged over its lifespan. We're not including light trucks, mostly because it's damn near impossible to sort out Soviet military stuff.

This is an oldtimer, in very good shape, just refurbished. It has 5 gears, and pictures say it all. It is powerfull and very comfortable. It is woth the money! It was my family's car for more than 25 years. I was borne with it and I drove it :). The price is not fixed!

If you are eight years old or have been living on the moon for the last twenty years you could be forgiven for thinking the whole eco city car segment is a new thing. You may marvel at how Toyota managed to fit four people into its tiny iQ, or how Smart can charge 15 grand for a convertible Brabus FourTwo, but years and years ago the whole concept had been fine-tuned elsewhere. Of course there was the original Mini but over in Italy, where they are the kings of small cars and low-speed crashes, Fiat had created the 500. Again, if you have been stuck on an island with Tom Hanks for the last five years, that’s the one that looks a bit like Fiat’s latest small car.

We like the blue plates and the no-make 4-spoke alloys. The interior in this model includes a special tachometer and sport seats, and the owner has added a rollbar. The engine has had many mods performed, and the seller will includes the necessary stock parts to help pass smog. This is a very cool and rare fiat, and the performance is very good for the money. It does go against our no-yellow-cars rule, but we will make an exception because of the race legitimacy. Alitalia sponsor colors would be amazing, but a color change on this car is likely not worth the effort. We say buy it and run the wheels off it!

The last car that Carlo would be actively involved with was the Autobianchi A112 Abarth, which enjoyed its own competitive success in rallying and a one-make series, and remained in production until 1986. Fiat re-organised Abarth to function as its rally preparation arm, and success continued with second places in the world championships of 1973, '74 and '75, and a historic finish to the 1974 Rally of Portugal where 124 Abarth Rally models took the first three places.
